Thea Garret last rehearsal at the Telenor Arena 25 May 2010
It was an important day for Thea Garrett a she took the Telenor Arena stage once again for her third and final rehearsal. The performance was described as her best yet and now it is up to the people and jury to vote for the song. Tonight during the 55th edition, 10 out of 17 songs will be making it to the final to be held next Saturday.
Incidentally yesterday marked the Eurovision's birthday as the first edition was held on 24 May 1956.
Thea Garrett 's day was also filled with emotions following a telephone call from the President of Malta George Abela who wished her the best of luck in tonight's contest. Thea Garrett also received a visit from the parents and brother who arrived in Oslo during the night.
Also a group of other Maltese friends and fans arrived last night and this morning waited for Thea Garrett at the reception lobby to wish her all the best of luck before she took off to the arena for her first rehearsals.
Thea Garrett will be performing tonight in the eleventh position with My Dream by Jason Cassar and Sunny Aquilina.
The 55th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Oslo and is broadcast on TVM from 21.00.
