Thea Garrett back home

18-year old Thea Garrett returned home from Oslo on Sunday night. Thea and the Maltese delegation were greeted at the airport by family, friend and fans. Waiting also for Thea’s arrival was her dog, Bud.
Thea Garrett performed My Dream in the first semifinal of the 55th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest but did not manage to get enough points to qualify for the final. My Dream in fact placed 12, failing to make it to the final by 7 points.

PBS chairman Joseph Mizzi confirmed with local newspaper The Times that Malta will continue to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest.

"If we manage to secure a contract for our artists we would have done a lot. Winning should not be the be all and end all," he said.
